Leading independent 4th Party Logistics (4PL) technology and service provider 3T Logistics has made it to the finals in the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Annual Awards for Excellence in the Freight Transport category.

3T submitted an entry that featured a case study on how they’ve partnered with Honda to deliver a highly efficient inbound freight transport service to their manufacturing location in Swindon. Speaking on the nomination, Tim Fawkes, Managing Director of 4th Party Logistics provider 3T said, “We’re thrilled to have reached the finals in such a competitive and prestigious industry award with our customer Honda. I have great hopes that the innovations we have developed and implemented within Honda UK’s manufacturing inbound freight transport operation will catch the judges’ eye.”

Tim went on to say “making it through to the finals is especially significant for us coming off the back of further fantastic news that the 3T Transport Management System was, for the second year in a row, recognised in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Transport Management Systems”. Out of the 13 companies recognised globally, 3T Logistics was 1 of only 2 companies headquartered in the UK to be recognised in the Magic Quadrant.

3T Sales Director Rob Hutton also commented saying, “2019 is going very well for us and the news of this finalist position is, in many ways, the icing on the cake. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed during the awards ceremony on the 17th October.”

3T Logistics work with a range of businesses including premium brands JCB, Honda, Klockner Pentaplast, Weir and Aggreko supporting their complex logistics needs and significantly reducing their transport costs.
