3T Logistics will be exhibiting at the EMEA Supply Chain & Logistics Summit & Expo for the first time in June. Our CEO Steve Twydell will also be taking part in the event as a guest speaker and a panel member in one of the summit’s group discussions.
What is the event?
Held at Hotel Rey Juan Carlos I in Barcelona from 19th to 21st June, the annual three-day event brings together over 600 senior supply chain and logistics professionals from across the world.
The event gives attendees the opportunity to listen to some of the most inspiring thought leaders and experts from across a wide spectrum of industries – so we are delighted that Steve will be amongst them.
Topics cover a range of areas but the four key streams of content will be:
- Supply Chain Planning and Management
- Logistics Excellence
- Technology Deployment
- Roundtable and Workshops
What will 3T’s presentation involve?
Steve will be speaking on the second day of the summit (Tuesday 20th) as part of the ‘logistics excellence’ programme between 10-10:30am. His presentation will focus on the fourth industrial revolution, offering an expert’s view of what the changes will be and how they will impact businesses across a whole range of sectors – and their logistics processes. This is a must-attend talk for anyone looking to create a successful roadmap and overcome the challenges ahead.
On day one (Monday 19th), Steve will also take part in a panel discussion about 3PL vs 4PL and the rise of fifth party logistics. Steve will offer his knowledge of the industry to help attendees understand the difference between 3PLs and 4PLs, explaining what the next steps are for the 4PL business model and if 5PLs can broaden the scope further to e-business.
The expo, combined with the range of topical presentations, aims to help attendees maximise their supply chain revenue, enhance customer experience and increase profits through strategic management of suppliers, logistics and costs.
